Hey! So Glad You're Here.

I'm a wife. A mom. A sister and a daughter. Passionately pursuing what it looks like to live fearlessly. I know what it's like to live in fear. And I know what it's like to be wrapped in God's love that eclipses fear.  This is why I write.

I love this picture of my son and I because of what it means. It was taken by a very talented friend on Mother's Day weekend, just weeks after our daughter, Ayvah Rose, was stillborn. The diamond around my neck is her birthstone. I looked a wreck that morning, ashen complexion and tear-stained cheeks, as one friend suggested I delay this photo shoot. But it was such a dear gift, to capture the smiles and embraces of the child who we've been blessed to see live after so many losses. This little boy's hugs, my husband sticking by my side, and God's strength have pulled me through.

This blog is the result of the "nagging" or, put more politely, the urging I've felt from God to share what I write. It is how I process things; writing has been an outlet through much of my life.

I suppose I'm WAY behind on this blogging thing, but if not now, then when?
